I received my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University while simultaneously completing a certification in Infant/ Preschooler Mental Health. I additionally hold a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling and am a Registered Play Therapist. I completed my Pre-doctoral Internship at a local community mental health agency where I served diverse populations with services ranging from individual, group, and family therapy, psycho-education parenting classes, and psychological assessments.

My clinical experiences range from supporting women domestic violence survivors and their children, to working as a mental health consultant for a federally- funded early-intervention preschool, providing school-based mental health services to staff, students and their respective family members, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic services within various private practice settings. I have experience performing psychological assessments, including both cognitive and academic skill-based assessments, in conjunction with both the local Regional Center and local non-profit early intervention agencies. I serve as an expert witness for the local juvenile court system in regard to juvenile competency to stand trial. Further, I hold special interest in assessing the more subtle and less stereotypical presentations of neurodiversity, to include ADHD, Autism, and Autism with a demand avoidance profile (PDA)e.

"Play is foundational for bonding relationships and fostering tolerance. It’s where we learn to trust and where we learn about the rules of the game. Play increases creativity and resilience, and it’s all about the generation of diversity—diversity of interactions, diversity of behaviors, diversity of connections.”
