Bibliotherapy

Books and stories can help us understand our experiences. Bibliotherapy, or reading therapy, uses stories to develop empathy, insight, and self-compassion. Here is a list of books on various topics which you may find helpful and can enhance discussions at home. Many of these books are also used in Dr. Hiday’s office with her clients.
